IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON CELL PHONES AND THE COTTAGE

Effective immediately No cellphones are permitted in the club. With modern technology comes modern problems. It seems that all cellphones have cameras built into them, and our policy on camera usage at the Cottage is well established and non negotiable. If you need to make a call you will be permitted to go to your car and make your call. You can give the clubs number to your sitter if you prefer. We have never answered the phone with any other greeting than "Hello". If you receive a call the management will find you and the call can be taken at the desk. Please ask those calling you to keep calls to a minimum and for important issues only.

We have always prided ourselves on the discretion we afford our members.  Our members demand and expect privacy when visiting us and we respect that.

LOST AND FOUND

If you've been to the Cottage in the past and have lost something, on your next visit please ask to see the lost and found area to look for your lost item.  The management said that things left behind are building up to one very large collection. 

A couple of rules.  First, with the possible exception of prescription glasses and wallets, there are too many items to describe and have someone go look for them on a phone call. On expensive items such as jewelry and wallets (these are kept separate from clothes, bags, hair dryers and the like) you must be able to describe it exactly to take it.

Management has not decided how to handle items left for significant amounts of time but we've not ruled out donations to charity. We want to give everyone ample opportunity to get your property back but we are running out of room.
